Explore historical Stanford on foot armed with a booklet which details the histories of olld buildings and includes a map. Start at the Municipal building and follow the HW tiles secured to the buildings.
The central core of Stanford is a proclaimed heritage site. Many of it's buildings date back between 100 and 300 years and most of the village exudes a charm of yesteryear.
The origional market square dating back to 1785 is still undeveloped in the centre of the village
