The Overberg is an incredible area, with beautiful skies, colourful farmland, yellow, gold and green fields, horses, sheep, blue cranes and in Stanford, a beautiful river that connects you to a magnificent lagoon.

Explore historical Stanford on foot armed with a booklet which details the histories of olld buildings and includes a map. Start at the Municipal building and follow the HW tiles secured to the buildings.

The central core of Stanford is a proclaimed heritage site. Many of it's buildings date back between 100 and 300 years and most of the village exudes a charm of yesteryear.
