Hiking & Rock Art Heritage
A network of hiking trails winds through the reserve, offering something for all ages and abilities. It’s one of the few places where you can easily access the heights of the Klein River Mountains this side of Hermanus. Walk to a waterfall, marvel at sculpted rock formations, or reach the summit for panoramic views. Don’t miss Phillipskop Cave — a local heritage site and the only place to see ancient rock art on the Cape Whale Coast. Or walk over to Tesselaarsdal via the Haarkapper Hiking Trail Guided walks are also available with Chris, an expert on the fynbos and local ecology.
